Greg became a director the day he broke 5 ribs, cracked 2 vertebrae, and punctured his lung snowboarding. Up until that moment, he had spent over 15 years as one of the most awarded creatives in the ad industry with stints at Cliff Freeman, Goodby Silverstein, and later co-founding his own creative shop Venables Bell & Partners. During that time he was was the winner of just about every ad prize in the business. Then one day he caught a nasty edge while boarding in Tahoe. The following painkiller-laden week led to a realization: life was too short to be spent in client meetings. Since then, Greg has directed comedic commercials for acclaimed agencies and clients around the world. He also continues to snowboard.
